Flying Blue members registered with the “Flying Blue shop for Miles” Platform can earn Miles on their day-to-day purchases across a network of retail partners. These Miles will be credited to their Flying Blue account if the purchases meet the conditions of the offer made by the partner retailer and published on the “Flying Blue shop for Miles” Platform.
2.1 Any Flying Blue member can register on the “Flying Blue shop for Miles” Platform. Members can register on the “Flying Blue shop for Miles” Platform, via the flyingblue.com website, by accepting the programme’s terms and conditions. To register, Flying Blue members have to provide a valid email address which will be used for all “Flying Blue shop for Miles” Platform-related communications. Flying Blue members can notify Flying Blue of a change of email address by any means and authorise Flying Blue to bring such information to the attention of its partner, Plebicom, a public limited company with capital of €113,491.66, SIREN 433 817 111 - Paris Trade Register, with its head office at: 131 Boulevard Sébastopol 75002 Paris (hereinafter “Plebicom” or the “the Partner”. They will then become a member of the “Flying Blue shop for Miles” Platform.
2.2 Special provisions applicable to members of the “Flying Blue shop for Miles” Platform
Members of the Flying Blue Programme wishing to take advantage of “Flying Blue shop for Miles” will have to:
- Accept the General Terms and Conditions of the “Flying Blue shop for Miles” Platform when they first log in and expressly authorise Flying Blue to inform its partner, Plebicom, of the following personal data: surname, first name, membership number, date of birth, email address, so that it can set up and manage their “Flying Blue shop for Miles” account.
- Supply or confirm a valid email address which will be used for all “Flying Blue shop for Miles”-related communications.
Partner Retailer offers can be accessed on the “Flying Blue shop for Miles” Platform. The terms and conditions of these offers vary according to the Partner Retailer making the offer.
All purchases have to be made in euro in order to earn the corresponding Miles.

3.1 Online retailer offer: once the offer has been activated, Members are immediately redirected to the online retailer’s website to that the purchase can be made. Once the purchase has been made, Members can consult the number of Miles earned via their personal space on the “Flying Blue shop for Miles” Platform within a number of hours, or days, depending on the retailer.
3.2 The Flying Blue shop for Miles website gives users the option to download an extension, hereinafter referred to as My Shopping Companion, so that they can receive notification of corresponding Miles offers, in real time, when browsing retailers’ websites.
My Shopping Companion works once it has been downloaded onto the browser by Flying Blue shop for Miles website visitors via the My Shopping Companion page. Downloading My Shopping Companion for a specific browser. When using a new browser, other than the one on which My Shopping Companion was downloaded earlier, it is necessary to download My Shopping Companion onto the new browser in question. My Shopping Companion can be downloaded onto the following browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer et Safari.
To operate My Shopping Companion and activate Miles offers whilst shopping, members simply click on the ‘Activate offer’ button whenever Miles offers are available on the website of the retailer they are browsing. If the ‘Activate offer’ button is not pressed, Miles cannot be awarded on the purchase/s being made with the retailer concerned. When the ‘Activate offer’ button is clicked, confirmation will be displayed on the same button with ‘Offer is activated!’. My Shopping Companion is only displayed on shop for Miles partner retailer websites that have authorised the use of My Shopping Companion when their site is being browsed. All retailers have to accept, or refuse, the use of My Shopping Companion on their website. The fact that a retailer is showing a Miles offer on the shop for Miles website, does not necessarily mean that the retailer has agreed to the use of My Shopping Companion. To earn Miles with a retailer that does not agree to the use of My Shopping Companion, the offer must be activated via the retailer’s listing on the Flying Blue shop for Miles website. The My Shopping Companion conditions of use are shown on the listing for the retailer in question. A list of retailers who do not wish to appear on My Shopping Companion can also be consulted in the FAQ under the question “Why is My Shopping Companion failing to identify a partner retailer?”
During periods dated and/or communicated by visuals on the site and/or on My Shopping Companion and/or communications sent by Flying Blue shop for Miles, it is possible to benefit from extra Miles when members first download My Shopping Companion using a browser. The value of these bonus Miles can be modified at any time by the site publisher and/or administrator as cited in the legal notice. Only the first download per member and per account via any browser is counted. Uninstalling My Shopping Companion and then downloading it again will not result in an additional bonus. Outside of the communicated time period, no bonus Miles will be credited to the member's account for any first download.
Please note : This Miles bonus will be credited as ‘pending’ to the shop for Miles account at the time of the download if the member is logged onto Flying Blue shop for Miles, otherwise it will be added after the first click made on My Shopping Companion. This bonus will be validated once the first purchase is made via My Shopping Companion. Any bonus Miles validated in excess of 250 Miles are not automatically added to the Miles in the member’s Flying Blue account. Only Miles validated after a purchase of more than 250 Miles for the first transfer will subsequently trigger the transfer to the Flying Blue account.
By downloading My Shopping Companion, members accept the general terms and conditions of use.
Miles are calculated on the amount of the purchase made by the Member on the Retail Partner’s website.
To be eligible for Miles, Members must:
- have already accepted the cookies policy displayed on the “Flying Blue shop for Miles” Platform,
- comply with the offer’s terms of validity, as defined by the Partner Retailer making the offer (terms described for each of the offers on the “Flying Blue shop for Miles” website),
- activate the corresponding offer where necessary,
The Miles must be confirmed by the Partner Retailer in order to be validated on the Member’s Flying Blue account. To do so, the Retailer must provide definitive confirmation of the purchase that earned the Miles. This Retailer validation period varies from 10 to 70 days, excluding offers from hotels, tour operators and service providers which are validated within one month of the member returning from the trip/receiving the service).
The balance of the Flying Blue shop for Miles account, including validated Miles earned after a purchase and bonus Miles, is automatically reset if members have not earned 250 validated Miles following one or more purchases in the twenty-four (24) months after signing up with Flying Blue shop for Miles.
The “Flying Blue shop for Miles” website can be accessed at http://shopformiles.flyingblue.com. The website was designed and developed by Plebicom, but its content is owned exclusively by Flying Blue. Any total or partial reproduction of this website or of any one of these elements without express, prior authorisation from Flying Blue, is prohibited. Any representation or reproduction of this website, in any form, would constitute infringement of copyright. Members can find out how “Flying Blue shop for Miles” works by consulting the “Flying Blue shop for Miles” website and activating offers from Partner Retailers.
Registering for “Flying Blue shop for Miles” and accessing offers on the “Flying Blue shop for Miles” Platform is free of charge (apart from connection costs billed, if applicable, by the Member’s Internet Service Provider and/or mobile phone operator). Flying Blue members registered on the “Flying Blue shop for Miles” Platform can become a member of the Platform free of charge.
When using the “Flying Blue shop for Miles” website, some information of a personal nature will also be collected by Flying Blue, as data controller, for the purposes of managing the “Flying Blue shop for Miles” Platform, presenting Retailer offers, particularly via newsletters sent by email, for Member services, for identifying and combating fraud, for conducting surveys and for statistics.
The data may be forwarded to Flying Blue’s subcontractor in connection with the performance of its duties.
Members have the right to access their personal data, as well as to have inaccurate data corrected or deleted, as well as the right to object, for legitimate reasons, to such data being processed. These rights may be exercised in respect of Flying Blue in accordance with the terms and conditions listed on the “Flying Blue shop for Miles” website.
Flying Blue reserves the right to change “Flying Blue shop for Miles” terms and conditions. In this event, Members will be notified of any changes one month before they are actually introduced, by any means, either direct on the “Flying Blue shop for Miles” website, or to Members’ email addresses.
During this period, Members are entitled to refuse to accept the changes and withdraw from this Contract, free of charge, in accordance with the procedures described in Article 9. If notice of withdrawal is not given within the deadline set, the changes shall be deemed to have received final approval.
“Flying Blue shop for Miles” membership has an indefinite duration, provided that the member fulfils the “Flying Blue shop for Miles” Platform’s eligibility conditions. Flying Blue may terminate “Flying Blue shop for Miles” at any time. Flying Blue will inform Members one month prior to actual termination, by any means at its disposal.
9.1 Cancellation at the Member’s request
Members may cancel their membership at any time by post. In this event, Members’ personal data (surname, first name, membership number, data of birth, email address) will no longer be forwarded to Flying Blue as of the date of the cancellation request. Consequently, Members will no longer be able to access their “Flying Blue shop for Miles” personal space, nor activate any offers. With regard to offers already used prior to the Member’s cancellation request, Miles “pending validation” will continue to be subject to Retailer validation and will be added to the Member’s Flying Blue account, where applicable.
9.2 Cancellation by Flying Blue
In the event of “Flying Blue shop for Miles” being used inappropriately, Flying Blue may cancel a membership at any time, without giving a reason, subject to fifteen days prior notice (by email). In this event, Members will no longer be able to access their Flying Blue shop for Miles personal space, nor activate any offers. With regard to offers already used prior to Flying Blue’s cancellation request, Miles “pending validation” will continue to be subject to Retailer validation and will be added to the Member’s Flying Blue account, where applicable.
Any complaints from Members must be submitted using the form available on the “Flying Blue shop for Miles” website. The After-Sales Department undertakes to confirm receipt of complaints within a maximum of 48 hours. In the event of Miles-related disputes, proof of purchase may be required from the Member (receipt of payment/order, invoice).
Flying Blue’s contractual provisions and relations with Members are governed by French law. French alone shall be used for all contractual and business documents and, generally speaking, all written or oral exchanges between Flying Blue and Members.
